At Redemption '01 I found myself running in the 'Rulers Of The Universe' a second time. Why I had to run for election again after only two years is beyond me, but rather than unleash troopers on the crowd, I decided to do my usual two numbers in the Cabaret.
I had come up with what I thought was a rather good idea. I mimed to Abba's 'Money Money Money' and when they first sang the words "Money Money Money" I threw 'Vote For Servalan' flyers into the audience. People started cheering, jumping up and grabbing them.
Needless to say I was very pleased with this outcome. It wasn't until afterwards that someone told me everyone thought I was throwing Drazi points (used in a Convention competition) and were grabbing them for their teams! The voting public can be so ungrateful.
