I had never met Jacqueline before Deliverance '98, but I knew she had seen a photo of me, as Paul Darrow asked me for one to send to her. I was very nervous about meeting her, in case she took offence at my act. But she was wonderful!
When she first saw me dressed as Servalan, she said "Darling! You do look like me!". After the fancy dress she told me she loved the Cabaret I had done, and sat and chatted with me. I was in 7th heaven!
I did ask her how she managed to walk in high heels in all that sand, the answer was "Practice darling, sheer practice."
