Again somebody asked me if they could make me a dress, the lady in question being Helen Barnes, who it turned out is very clever with a needle and thread. So we got together, and decided on the red dress from ‘Gambit’ as it was very glam.
Jacqueline Pearce was going to be at the next convention I was going to. The lights reflected off the dress beautifully, and it was a hit with the guests. The only problem I had was keeping the collar up, as it kept drooping all over the place!
When Helen married her husband Mike, I did my Servalan cabaret at their wedding reception for them and wore this dress.
